With just one 20 minute episode, The Simpsons packs in all the pathos and joy of a classic coming-of-age movie. After finishing the school year friendless, Lisa casts off her nerd image on a family holiday, befriending a group of cool kids headed by Erin (Christina Ricci). Bart, naturally, is furious that Lisa is trying to usurp his position as Cool Simpson, and wreaks revenge. One of those episodes where The Simpsons doesn't only crack wise, it just is wise.
