Through her energetic and fun Pilates classes, our playful Antonia shares her passion for building core strength, flexibility and awareness in order to promote spinal alignment and freedom in movement. She welcomes individuals of all levels of experience to classes as her approach lends itself to all levels of physical fitness and to all ages.
Antonia came to Pilates through her training as a professional dancer. Having being introduced to Ballet aged 4, she held numerous leading roles in her six years as a member of the youth ballet. Graduating from the State School of Athens as a professional Dancer and Dance Teacher in 2009, Antonia earned a scholarship to study for an MA in Movement Studies at London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. From here she went on to become a certified instructor (Level 3), specialising in rehabilitation, equipment and mat work.
Kind and enthusiastic, Clare creates mindful, flowing and beautifully choreographed classes that are a graceful and focused moving meditation that are open to all. When not performing in the world-renowned West-End production of War Horse, Clare passionately shares the powerful benefits of yoga through her playful teachings.
An actress and dancer, Clare moved to London in 2002 in search of the bright lights of the big city. In between her dance contracts she searched for a way to keep healthy and flexible and found Yoga. The focus, clarity and inner strength required for this practice provided balance in her dance career and sometimes “hectic” audition schedule. She found the time spent on the mat gave her the chance to re-connect with her inner self. Clare’s love of the practice led her to NYC where she studied intensively with the great master Sri Dharma Mittra and became a certified teacher.
