Although gender or sex education is viewed by many as a taboo, it is very crucial in any society especially during the child’s development stage. It is important to teach young individuals sex education in a mean that does not only reflects family’s values but also promotes the sustainability of a culture that is balanced. Gender education is not just important as a developmental process in a child’s life but also arms the child the tools to understand her/himself better with respect to the threats that would emerge from such interactions and immediate environment. In addition, if the children get the education from the right and appropriate people, he or she will get it from other sources.
